Notes From The Teacher

Mrs. Chandra Sromek

I have been teaching at St. Mary Catholic School since 2004. During this time I have been able to teach kindergarten, first and second grades, and most recently have transitioned to teaching the 3 and 4-year-old Kindergarten "Adventures in Learning" program. I am blessed to have the opportunity to prepare students for their journey of success at St. Mary Catholic School.

In addition to teaching, I have been the principal here at St. Mary Catholic School since December 2006. This leadership role has awarded me the opportunity to work collaboratively with staff, board members and volunteers on long-term projects such as creating a five-year Strategic plan for our school and successfully completing accreditation through Wisconsin Religious and Independent Schools Accreditation. I also enjoy organizing school activities and events such as Sunday Children’s Masses, the All for Love of St. Mary Catholic School Event, and the Spring Music and Art Festival.

Yet another role I play is one of wife and mother. My husband, Greg, and I were married in 2001 and are blessed with three wonderful children, Atom, Aurora, and Orion who teach me something new every day. I enjoy spending time with my family having campfires, playing volleyball, walking, swimming, snow shoeing, scrapbooking and gardening.

Thank You, Lord. We fold our hands, We bow our heads, We thank you God, For daily bread. Amen

Daily Prayer

Two little eyes to look to God;
Two little ears to hear His words;
Two little feet to walk in His ways;
Two little lips to sing His praise;
Two little hands to do His will;
And one little heart to love Him still.
